Profile:  Dr. Zakir Hussain has been serving as Chief Conservator Forest, Parks & Wildlife Gilgit-Baltistan since 5th January 2019. Prior to his elevation as Chief Conservator, he has served as Conservator of Forest Baltistan, DFO Skardu, DFO Ghanche, WLMO DNP and WLMO KNP. He was appointed as Divisional Forest Officer (BS-18) in October 2008 through FPSC. He has BSc Forestry and MSc Forestry Degrees from Pakistan Forest Institute Peshawar. He has done his MPhil degree from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad and PhD in Forestry and Range Management from Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi.
