The park is home to Alpine meadows, Alpine scrub zone, Sub alpine scrub zone. it lies in the majestic landscape of Shandur polo ground, Shandur pass. its climate naturally offers a variety of flora and fauna that includes Snow leopard, Indian grey wolf, Himalayan ibex, Himalayan brown bear Palla’s cat, Cape hare and stone marten. Birds includes Booted Eagle, Eurasian Sparrow Hawk, Golden eagle, Himalayan Griffon vulture, Common Artemisia, Ephedra, Wild rose, Barbaris and Potentilla.
